Hi Everyone.
Happy Sunday. It's my turn to host the Paper Players challenge this week – and it's theme week.
I really wanted to use a quote that is in the Casual Fridays Big Treble set. It really is a great sentiment. Originally I was going to do a very clean and simple card and not put anything on the card other than the sentiment. However, I went through my paper stash and found this gorgeous piece of paper. It was originally 6×6, so I had to do some manipulation of the cutting to get it to fit my 4.25 width card.
For my birthday, my bestie, Pammie, sent me some Uniball glitter pens and they are fabulous. I decided to use the silver one on this card to add a little shimmer and shine to those florals. Here's a closeup:
It really is a different pen to the one that I normally use. It is a true silver color and really does have little specs of glitter in it.
I mounted the sentiment to the card base using some fun foam. Here's my card:

On a personal note:
Yesterday the weather was glorious. The sun was out. It got to 72 degrees. It was a great day to visit the nursery! We went and bought some fresh herbs for our planter box and some flowers the hummer will love – when they finally get here!
We did have a single Oriole visit us after I posted on my blog yesterday. He stayed around for about 10 minutes – had a couple of dots of jelly and a couple of bits of orange – and poofffff.. he was gone! So we are hoping the Orioles that will stay will be quick to follow him.
We were sitting on the front porch and were so happy to see that our Barn Swallows are back! We can't wait to see them flying in and out of the eaves of our porch and bringing up their babies.

The colors are just amazing. They don't last long – but they are spectacular 🙂
