Chrysanthemum Mother’s Day Addicted to CAS #136

 Hi Everyone.

Happy Saturday.  It's the fabulous Ceal's turn to host our Addicted to CAS Challenge this week and she has a perfectly timed code-word for us:

My Mom has been gone for 33 years, but I did think of her when I made this card.  Blue was her favorite color and she loved pearls – and flowers!  So, even though this card went into the Altenew Parent's Day card drive, I did design it for my Mom.

The Chrysanthemum stamp and die comes from an Altenew Build a Flower set and this one is unique in that it cut's out some of the petals.  This means that you can pop them up off the page with just a little hint of foam dot and that adds a little more interest.

I stamped the background and then added the teeniest, tiniest little pearls to the places where the lines meet.  Although this card has a background, it is the flower that takes center stage.
