Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday.
Quick post for you today. It's the totally fabulous Barb's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and she has this as our code word:
When I saw this, I realized I had some wonderful paper that came as part of the My Minds Eye – Blush paper pack and I knew it would be perfect.
Now… I am not a PINK person….. however, I must admit, I am pretty sold on this new blush color that is doing the rounds in interior design… I know…. very odd for me and I would love to see Lou's face if I told him I now wanted to make our bedroom color pink!!!!
If you play along with us this week and are chosen as our winner – the wonderful Kylie has another $20 gift certificate for our winner. You can check out Kylie's on-line store at the link below
I cut a piece of the ombre paper to fit the base of my card and then used the same paper for a stamped and die-cut cup. I stamped my sentiment on a piece of vanilla card stock and mounted it with fun foam. I also mounted the cup on fun foam and stamped my sentiment.
I added a little glimmer pen on the flower, cup base and handle and my card was done. I hope you can see the ombre on both the base layer and the cup!
If you are looking for some inspiration, you have to look no further than our very talented design team, including our guest designer for this week Rosali. I know you will love her gorgeous sea inspired card.
I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card and some nature photos. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Such a pretty delicate card.
Love this one Jaydee! I’m like you, not really a pink girl but I love this shade. It’s the only pink I really like and it reminds me of my younger days taking ballet class. ; ) The ombre color of this paper is so pretty as well as font!
Such a sweet delicate card…I’m also liking that Blush color a lot!
That blush color suits your china cup beautifully, Jaydee.
This is gorgeous. I love the ombre effect on the tea cup and background. So cool that you achieved this effect with paper. Great take on the code word!
That blush ombre paper is wonderful, and the pairing with the vanilla panel is so lovely. That little bit of gliimer is the perfect touch for this CAS beauty.
