Hi Everyone.
Apologies for my being MIA. but I was back at the orthopedic and my hand is back in a splint. Remember the "fingers meet 18# moving at a heck of a speed cat" episode back in December? Well, it seems my injury has not repaired itself as it should have. So, my fingers are back in splints and my left hand is pretty much immobile. I'm booked in to see the hand surgeon next Tuesday and I'm hoping that there is something they can do with physio to get my hand back to normal. Consequently, it's no crafting for me this next week – and hasn't been since I saw the ortho.
However, I do have a couple of cards that I can share with you – as well as some nature shots. So forgive me if I am a little short on my posts – and my posts are a little short 🙂
Here's a card I made with Twinkling H20s. Yep… I've had them for well over 2 years and, quite frankly, forgot about them. But remembered them and decided they would work really well for this stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.
I dedicate my card tonight to all of you – because I do miss all of you – and your comments!

I know it's always hard to capture "twinkling" or shimmer on a card – but I promise it really is very pretty.
Talking about pretty – how about a couple of nature shots?
We don't see as much of the deer during this time of year – but they seem to enjoy a few flowers when they come by. Our Iris came back beautifully this year – 13 flowers on the one plant and 5 on the other. However… it was only a couple of nights before they had all disappeared!
If you look closely at this shot – you can see the number of "heads" that have been completely munched off!
the ones that you see here – were gone the next morning!
And I am going to leave you with this stunning guy!
Aren't those markings just gorgeous! I was stunned at how beautiful he was when I uploaded this photograph.

So very sorry about your hand. Darn it! Keep us posted. Do love the card and the photos. I guess I never thought about deer eating iris. The thought hurts my tummy. Take care of yourself. And hugs and prayers your way!!

I’m so sorry to hear of the recurrence of issues with your left hand. I hope the doctors will be able to find a solution very soon. For us crafters, the use of our hands are our most important asset.
The deer and the irises are both beautiful. It’s too bad that the deer love beautiful flowers!

I hope that your hand gets back to being good again. Not good when you can’t be in your craft room. The pictures are great and I always enjoy them.
So here’s to a speedy recovery and sending lots of healing thoughts your way.
With that thought in mind I am off to put my broken ankle up with some ice on it.
