I have two cards to share with you tonight. It's my final stint as the Guest Designer at Sunday Stamps so thanks to Holly for having me along this month! The challenge this week is a sketch challenge and it's a beauty.
It's the very talented Claire's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a great theme challenge for us.
Let's start with my Paper Players card. Here's Claire's challenge
Now… I didn't have a stamp that had a "sweet treat" type of feel… but I remembered I had some DSP from an old SimonSaysStamp card kit that would work perfectly. I paired it with some of the new Cucumber Crush and Watermelon Wonder inks and an old stamp set from Papertrey Ink called Wet Paint.
Here's my card:
Isn't that paper great? I really think it works for the challenge and I am in love with the new Cucumber Crush ink. It's going to be fabulous for Christmas, too.
Now, on to my Sunday Stamps card. Here's the sketch:
Once again, I decided to use some of my new DSP, except this time I went for a very neutral colour scheme using the "Timeless Elegance" DSP.
I paired that with the retired "Painted Petals" stamp set. Here's my card:
I love the bold stripes paired with the delicate flowers and, of course, I loved finishing off the layers with the Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangles! The card base is Tip Top Taupe. I really think this is going to become one of my go to neutrals.

Two gorgeous cards Jaydee – love that paper on the first one and the stamped banner looks great, such a cool font! I agree re Tip Top Taupe on the second card -I can see this becoming a go-to neutral for many of us!
I love both the cards….the DSP on the PP card makes me grin from ear to ear, though ! LOVE that stuff! I have not ventured into Cucumber yet….that one needs to grow on me, but it looks great here!
Two great cards, Jaydee! I love the ice cream paper on the first one, I almost went with that paper, too. The colors on the second are so elegant and I love the layout. I love the stitched dies too, I use mine all the time!
