Hi Everyone.
Well, it is 11.30pm – again! and I am just getting to my blog post. Time is running away from me this week and I have no idea where it's gone. Actually, it's probably been blown away! We have been under a wind advisory for 3 days and the fire departments from around the Twin Cities have been putting out fires for three days. So… so.. different to where we were this time last year when everything was so wet! This year is so dry and we have had such high winds and, added to that, strong sky to ground lightening, that it has proven to be a lethal combination.
Tonight's card is the one that I originally made for the addictedtocas CUTE challenge. This stamp is another one that Lou bought for me down in Oz from an Australian company called Stamp-It. He bought be this one last year and I absolutely love this little Koala.
Apart from the fact that the stamp is SUCH fun… I had great fun coloring it, too! I know we are a long way from Christmas… but I just couldn't help myself 🙂
I have a couple of nature shots to share with you tonight. I call this shot "bottom's up!" Just look at the pigeon's face… he is not at all happy and I love how puffed up he was trying to keep warm.
We have had a pair of Canadian Geese hanging around for a couple of days and they have been fighting for territory with the turkey's. The reason we have standing water is that the ground is still frozen just below the surface.
Oh… I am SO tired of BROWN!!! Brown is wonderful when it is mixed with oranges and reds and burgundys in fall…. but… when it is still brown in april….. I am desperate for green and yellow and pink 🙂
Today was a glorious (but very windy) mid-60s day… tomorrow is going to be mid-40s as a high and we are expecting 1-3 inches of snow on Monday. Mr Winter is definitely doing everything he can to keep his frozen tentacles out!
I'll be back on Saturday with my Paper Players card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Easter gives us yet another reason to be thankful to God. Have the joy of the coming of Christ be filled in your heart and bring peace into your life. Have a Blessed Easter.
Have a wonderful and Blessed Easter weekend
Totally cute card!! I wish I had more Australian Christmas stamps – he is adorable!
Jaydee, your koala has the most mischievous face (like the Elf on the Shelf)! I love him peeking through the window!
Bottom’s up is a great pic! The dove seems quite distraught. I just love red-winged blackbirds. They have the most beautiful song, so peaceful. Probably because you have to be more out in the open to see and hear them.
Windy and cold this morning at baseball practice but with all the rain we had, just happy they could even have it. Tomorrow we’re supposed to be in the 60’s and sunny. Perfect for egg hunts and celebrating our risen Lord! Have a wonderful weekend!!
How wonderful that your darling hubby brings you stamp souveniers from around the world, Jaydee. This one is so, so cute! Cute overload, yes! Love your coloring too.
