Hi Everyone. Happy Friday.
Hope you have had a good week. I cannot tell you how grateful I am that it is Friday!
For those of you who want to know….. No sighting of Archimedes today, but he was here yesterday – and I have a pic for you. As for our feline visitor. Yes! He came past last night and ate almost an entire bowl of food! Colleen left a fabulous insight into how owls are viewed in mythology and history. It was fascinating. If you didn't catch it, you can read Colleen's comment on this post. I also appreciated the kind words that she and Ann R said about me 🙂
So, as I haven't gotten into my craft room since last weekend, I don't have a recent card to show you. I had to go dig one up out of the set that I created for the Enchanted Makeover card drive. Lou bought me a really cute stamp set from Woodland Folk when we were in the UK a couple of years ago. The card drive was the perfect excuse to get it out. I paired it with the SU Woodgrain background stamp and some retired SU DSP.
You can tell that I had fun coloring it. I hope it brought a smile to some little face! I just love this image and sentiment.
Just in case you didn't believe the stories about owl's being able to turn their heads 180 degrees. Check this out!
Yes, siree. Something behind him was obviously very interesting!
I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card. In the meantime, have a fabulous Friday night and thank you for visiting.
Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Hi Jaydee!!
Thanks for Archimedes’ picture. As I have told you before I’m just entering the scrapbooking world . . . I’m in the midst of preparing suitcases to go to Peru (my homeland) and I will return with lots of scrapbooking and card making material. In return, a girlfriend of mine has received some material which I have bought in France and that she will give to me during my overnight stop in Paris and which I will take to Peru (global world!!). I am longing to go to the USA (not until next year for School Reunion) and look for stamps, papers, etc. etc.
Much love and very thankful for your messages and cards.

What a cute looking card; it’s so, so sweet and as precious as can be.
So nice to hear that your kitty has come back. Just hope your feathered friend there doesn’t get ahold of the little guy.
Our (well your) friend the owl would be pretty taking a nice 8×10 picture and decoupaging him on canvas. How lovely that would be having him hanging on your wall in the den, hallway, entry or anywhere in the house.
You are so lucky to have such a beautiful feathered friend hanging around.
You have a fantastic weekend, and again, Thank You 4 sharing a bit of nature with us.
