It is my turn to host the challenge at the Paper Players this week. I was thrilled when it turned out to be a CAS challenge this week. Instead of a sketch, I decided to offer you all just a little something different.
Make a Clean and Simple card and use watercoloring on your project. Simple, right? I hope you will join us this week because I know all you creative gals will have fun with this one.
I knew what I wanted to do immediately….. Well…. actually I made two cards and couldn't make up my mind which one to go with for the challenge reveal. In the end, really clean and simple won out.

All I needed were some SU inks, my watercolor tool and a little time to have some fun. I used watercolor paper as the base because it really takes the color well – and provides some texture, as do the watermark lines between the top colors. All I needed to do was stamp the sentiment. However, I stamped it just a tad too early and the ink didn't take quite as well.
I added a little border of Wisteria Wonder and then mounted the whole thing onto heavy white card stock. I used Gina K's 120# paper for the base.

It is wonderful–the ROYGBIV is just an added bonus. There is something so tranquil about watercolored images. I think I must have that sentiment stamp–I’ve seen it a couple of places and think it’s perfect.
Things have been hectic here (not like you, I know!) and I’m trying to find my groove once more. Why is it always so hard to settle back into a routine after a small break?
I think I had best be off to feed the children–holy smokes it’s dinner time!!!
