Hi everyone. Happy Tuesday night. I hope you are all having a fabulous week so far.
I have a very quick post for you tonight…. I made this card using the cleanandsimplestamping fall to layout # 179.
As soon as I saw this layout, I knew exactly what to use. Now, this might be a clean and simple card – but it took 5 goes to get it right – and even on this one I missed up two of the colors in the wheel progression…. At that stage I decided I could live with it… I wasn't going to line that pencil up, clean my stamp and get it all right AGAIN :-) So, please forgive me for that little lapse… even with that.. I think the card is cute 🙂
Supplies:
- Card stock: Gina K White, SU Whisper White
- Inks: SU Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limeade, Night of Navy, Pacific Point, Perfect Plum. Sentiment: Basic Black
- Stamp set: Papertrey Ink – Happy Trails
I have some other ideas around using this great sketch. I also love the fact that it is so easy to put into the post and not have to pay extra postage and, unsual for me, there are no pearls, no ribbon… no nothing 🙂
On a personal note:
I'm running really late tonight. Lou is on the phone with Asia (where he goes again at the end of the week) and so we went for a very early dinner. We needed to get there early – and back early – before the rain that we are having turns to freezing rain. We just made it back. As we were driving home, we could see the rain becoming more solid and our driveway was starting to look a little like a skating rink. North of us seems to be getting all of the snow – and we are getting the rain and wintery mixture. I really was hoping that we were finally going to get a really good snow storm. Sadly, not for us 🙂

Eww, sounds like nasty weather to me. In Ohio it is pouring down rain, lost electric for a while and now it is lightening. Very weird winter for us. We really haven’t had any snow this year. Take care and have a great day.

I may have mentioned my Roy G Biv obsession once or twice, right? This card is RIGHT UP MY ALLEY! (Even with the Pacific Point and Night of Navy mix-up. ;oP)
I can imagine dealing with those pencils was a very trying endeavor and I think it looks fabulous. :o) I’ve often said the more CAS a card, the more difficult it is to create. ;o)
Snow is grand. Ice? Not so much. I’m sorry your winter has been spotty at best.

Those sentiment should have read “you color my world perfectly”. That’s how those pencils look to me. Effortlessly lined up. Love it.
