Turntable Die-namics for Paper Players #725

Happy Sunday.

It's the fabulous Antipodean Jan's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's clean and simple week!  This time I actually caught the fact that it was clean and simple!  Also, tonight's card isn't a floral!!!!

I used an oldie but goodie (you'll see what I did there!) with My Favorite Things Turntable Die-namics.  Here's a sneak peek:

Now you see what I did with the oldie but goodie:-).  Here's Jan's challenge:

This card came together really easily.  I die cut the turntable elements from black and metallic grey card stock and adhered them to the card base with foam tape.  The hardest part was getting the straight sentiments to go around the record.  Thank goodness for the MISTI 🙂

Here's my full card:

As always the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you.

On a personal note:

Well, it's a crafting weekend for me.  I'm attending the virtual Create & Connect event with Pinkfresh Studio and getting to play with some things I'd never usually buy.  One set that I thought I really wouldn't use, I've really enjoyed using!  So, it shows its a good thing to try something new.  It's been an off and on snowy couple of days, so a perfect day to retreat to my craft room.

I'll be back during the week to share some photos from the class.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

  1. Hiya Jaydee. I just came over to check out the new challenge and saw your fabulous card. So very CAS and so wonderful. I hope you are doing well. It’s been a long time since we “chatted”. I hope retirement is suiting you well. Hugs, Stephanie

  2. Your card is simply fab, Jaydee! What a fun die set to use for any music lover and it is so perfect for your CAS card. I think a visit to MFT might be in order lol! I know you’re having fun at your retreat, which is pretty awesome, but if you have a chance can you tell me the name of the sentiment set? Have a great week!

  3. I love this set! How great that the image and words fit so well together, both physically and in spirit. And Antipodean Jan…. I’ve not been described like that before! 🙂 Perhaps it’s a new name for my blog!!

  4. Clean, simple and a great masculine card, Jaydee! These dies are so much fun. What a perfect sentiment to pair with them! As for Antipodean, I would like to give a shout out to Dr. Bernice Fox. Over 50 years ago, Dr. Fox was my Greek and Latin Word Elements professor. I remembered “Anti” means opposite and “pod” means foot. Since “Opposite Foot Jan” didn’t make a lot of sense to me, I still had to look it up. I see the logic now, and the process brought back wonderful memories of a wonderful instructor. Stay warm and enjoy the rest of your week!
