Happy Wednesday.
I got to play along with another challenge today – SendASmile4Kids is having a challenge to use either new stuff or old stuff. For my card, I used the new Simon Says Stamp card kit for January called Get Yeti. It's the sweetest set and I had fun creating this card.
Here's a sneak peek:
I honestly had such fun creating this card. I stamped and then heat embossed all of the images with silver embossing powder. I colored the images with my Copic markers and then fussy cut around them.
I used a border die from Photoplay to create the snow hills and hid the bottom of the mountains behind the line and popped up my yeti playing on his sled! I added some blue shading around the mountain and behind the yeti and added the sentiment. This card just makes me smile 🙂
I know the team at SendASmile4Kids would love you to play along – and donate any of your kiddy cards 🙂 You can find out more about donating at this link.
I'll be back later in the week. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.
Hugs
Jaydee

Hi Jaydee,
What a fun winter card–I love the different dimensions and that yeti is having “snow” much fun. Great font in the sentiment, too! Thank you so much for playing along with us at SAS4Kids! We have monthly challenges and would love to see your great cards again!
Hi,Jaydee! What a cool card — pun intended! I love how you used silver heat embossing to emphasize the cold temps. And your sentiment is perfect to allow for a variety of usages. We’re so glad you joined us at Send a Smile 4 Kids… and we hope you will share even more of your wonderful creations with us.
