Paisley Petals – Punch Bunch – sneek peak

Hi Everyone.  Happy Wednesday night.

Very quick post for you tonight.  It's 9.35 and I am running very late!

I love the new DSP that is going to be in the summer mini – Paisley Petals.  If you want to see another card made with this DSP – check THIS card.

I decided to go with a very different color combo for me – inspired by the DSP.  The colors?  Baja Breeze and Tangerine Tango.  Yep… you can search every post on my blog and I don't believe I have used this particular color combo ever… but I loved it!  So, it shows that going out of your comfort zone occasionally is a really good thing!

For you

I love the double scalloped edge on the paper.  I also love the PUNCH BUNCH sentiment.  The little pearl really works for me, too.

Card recipe – all ingredients Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted:

  • Card stock:  Baja Breeze (textured and plain), Tangerine Tango, Very Vanilla
  • DSP:  Paisley Petals
  • Stamp:  Punch Bunch
  • Ribbon:  Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon
  • Inks:  Baja Breeze, Tangerine Tango.  I used markers for the flower

So, what do you think of this color combo – and of this paper?  I love this paper!  If this is an insight to the kinds of DSP that will be in the new catalog… I'm very excited.  You know, I cannot believe that it is time to talk about the new catty, but the sneak peek for the demos is only a couple of months away.  In the meantime, I get to order a couple of things from the Summer Mini on 4/1.  There is one set and matching DSP that I A B S O L U T E L Y have to have in the new summer mini.  It really got my creative juices going.  All I am going to say about it is this…. one word… MASCULINE!  So, I will be putting in an order on 4/1 for that.

Prayers tonight for Missy and for those of you who need a little lift or a warm hug.

Have a fabulous Friday…. YAY… it's Friday!

Hugs

Jaydee

  1. Really pretty Jaydee and love the colors and the double scalloped edge. Have a great day . . . hey the weekend is here!

  2. I am IN LOVE with this paper! And, even though I have no stamping space right now–and have NO idea when I’ll have one again, :sigh:–I have ordered some. I can’t WAIT to get my hands on it. :o)
And, I know EXACTLY which DSP and stamp set you are talking about because I want it too! :o)
This card? LOVE it. :o) I just love that color combo.
Lil and I are off to plant some ground cover this morning as it is supposed to rain (possibility of snow predicted for Sunday, YIKERS!) most of the weekend and next week. I hope spring is on it’s way for you VERY soon. :o)
    Hugs!

  3. Love, love, love the colors and the design of the card is over the top with the scallops.
