Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday.
I don't normally post on Sunday, but as I have a very long day tomorrow, I thought I would post tonight and take tomorrow off instead. Also, it gave me an opportunity to participate in the moxiefabworld Paper Piecing challenge.
It's been a while since I did any paper piecing, so it was a great excuse to bring out my snips and some DSP.
I love the Awash with Flower stamp set and it was perfect for this challenge. I was able to stamp the outline on the Very Vanilla card stock and then restamp onto 3 different pieces of the Lap of Luxury Designer Series Paper.
Continuing my new year resolution of using colors I don't often use…. tonight I decided to feature Pink Pirouette and Concord Crush.
Here's what I came up with
Card recipe – all supplies Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted:
- Card stock: Concord Crush, Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette
- Stamps: Awash with Flowers (120549 clear, 117062 wood), Celebrate sentiment from Something to Celebrate (121955 clear, 121897 wood)
- DSP: Lap of Luxury (120436)
- Accessories: Concord Crush ribbon (119266), Pearls (non SU), ribbon tag die (non SU)
On a personal note: 1 more card made today… yep, that makes 2 whole cards this weekend! Mmmm… going to have to do better than that! However, it's always good to get dirty with ink and glue!
Prayers tonight for Missy. Missy I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine how devastated you feel. My thoughts and prayers are with you. (Please would you email me your address to [email protected].). Prayers also for those of you who need a little lift or a warm hug.
Have a fabulous Monday everyone, I'll be back on Tuesday with my next post.
Hugs
Jaydee

Oh, Jaydee, I REALLY like the colors on this one! The Pink Pirouette works so beautifully with the Concord Crush. And, it’s so nice to see Awash With Flowers again. :o)
I’ve caught up on your last few posts–it’s been CRAZY busy around here. :shakes head: I certainly do understand why you work the hours you do. It’s not easy, I know, but in today’s work environment, well…
My prayers for Missy, and her best friend’s family. How unbearably awful.
Hugs to you all!
Very pretty, Jaydee! How creative to paper piece the flowers! I will keep Missy and her friend’s family in my thoughts and prayers.
