Hi Everyone.
Happy Monday night. I hope you all had a great weekend. Before we get on to tonight's cards, I'd like to do a quick shout out to SAM. It's SAM's birthday tonight… so Happy Birthday Sam. I know your Mom (Beverly) will have taken great care of you – but I wanted you to know that we were thinking of you today.
I also wanted to thank you all for your wonderful comments on my Mother's Day card. You really have no idea how much your comments do mean to me. Also, what you comment – and what you comment on, have a direct bearing on what you see on my blog. So, if you want to influence what you see here, don't forget – your comments do matter.
Alicia – on your request as to where I would share the secret of the rose. Absolutely. I will try and put together a quick tip video this weekend and post it on my blog for you.
Some of you may remember me telling you that the recent Stampin' Up! regionals featured the Nature Walk stamp set. We got to use the stamp set in ways that I wouldn't normally use it… and that's another great reason to go to regionals.
Also, I never make little 3 x 3 gift cards. Well, we had a make and take project. 4 3 x 3 cards and a little holder for them. I loved this project. The little holder is so darn cute!
Here's the 4 cards. All made with the Botanical Gazette DSP, the Decorative Label Punch and the Nature Walk stamp set.
Aren't they cute!
Now, here's the inside of the holder
Decorated with a little of the Botanical Gazette paper on the inside and made out of Marina Mist card stock.
Here's the decorated outside:
All round, a really cute set of cards. I really enjoyed making them. Another thing I am enjoying – and never thought I would….. textured card stock! Yep… Love it!!!
On a personal note: Lou is traveling again – this time he's in the UK. Also, I have three project deadlines for tasks at work. The deadlines all come up next Monday. Guess what I will be doing this week… yep, working long hours and over the weekend, too! Grrrrrr…. I really need someone to provide me with the winning lottery numbers! 🙂
Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone. I hope it is a day filled with love and laughter. I hope you all get to do something that you enjoy doing at least once during the day.
Prayers tonight for those of you who need a lift or a warm hug. Continued prayers for those affected by the earthquake in New Zealand.
Hugs
Jaydee

These 3×3 cards are very cute. They look simple and yet very vintage. Like you, I don’t normally make cards this size. I am not sure how/what I would use them for since they are “small”. I tend to think it’s not quite good enough to give as a card. Maybe it’s just me trying to stay in my comfort zone…
I have never made a 3 x 3. These are very pretty. I love the vintage flair!

Darling cards! Just makes me want this set. I love 3 X 3 cards. They are perfect for gift giving.
Very cute! I love that set but haven’t done anything with it yet-this is inspiring. Would it be possible to give the instructions for the holder? Thank you
Love them Jaydee . . . they are really cute and that holder for them is darling. They are so Vintage and that is so much like you. The cards are great for gift bags. Thanks so much for sharing. Sam is getting for school so I will be sure to show her the *Birthday* wish from you and thanks for the “shout” out. You are always so thoughtful and remembering everyone.
First off, Happy Birthday, Sam!
I just LOVE 3×3 cards. They are so sweet and quick to put together. These are absolutely adorable! Everyone knows anything in miniature is cute. :o)
I’m SO sorry Lou is traveling abroad again, and that it is compounded with crazy work deadlines for you. I’ll be praying for you as well as those who are in need.
Hugs!
I love the 3 x 3 cards to give with a gift… and yet, I always forget about them. Even giving the cards in the box would make a cute gift for someone. Thanks for sharing Jaydee! I hope your week goes well (with not too much stress too) and that you’re able to complete your projects!
What a darling folder for the 3×3 set! I always forget about utilizing that size for quick notes and gifts. Good luck with work his week! Hugs to you! 🙂
