Valentine Defined – in Red

Hi Everyone

OK.. … I promise, this is the last Valentine Defined card for a while!  When I made the pretty in pink one that I showcased last night, I also made a luscious red one, too.  I have played around with so much Cherry Cobbler recently, that it was wonderful to go back to Real Red.

Card recipe – all ingredients Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted

  • Card stock:  Whisper White, Real Red (textured)
  • Stamps:  Valentine Defined
  • Accessories:  Real Red Satin Ribbon, Glimmer Brads – Brights
  • Tools:  Oval nestabilities (non-SU), Oval Punch

I love the smooth red satin against the textured card stock.  I know I MAY have said this before, but I really am loving this stamp set 🙂

Now, I am always thrilled when you tell me that you are going to CASE one of my cards.  It is so flattering.  I love it even more when I receive photographs of the projects you made.  I hope Beverly won't mind, but she sent me this photograph.  She had taken my Awash with Flowers card and a few with different sentiments.  That's the great thing about a card you like, you can make several at a time and just change up the sentiment.  So, Beverly, thanks so much for honoring me by CASEING.

Here's what Beverly created:

Prayers tonight for Rose, Adelle, Erin, Jan A, Germaine.  For those still being affected by the floods and fires in Oz.

Have a fabulous Saturday, everyone.  I really hope you get time to do the things you love, with those you love

Hugs

Jaydee

  1. Oh Jaydee I love the Define Valentine card, it can be used for an anniversary card too. Oh you didn’t! Oh you did! 🙂
Wow, makes me proud that one of my cards are showing up *live* on a blog! Thanks!
Those were just my samples, the others I made were really a lot better. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing all your creations with us. Have a great weekend!

  2. Jaydee, I love all of your creations with this set! I wasn’t so sure I wanted it but you have really shown it’s versatility, in that it’s NOT just for Valentine’s cards. The glimmer brad and the bow are beautiful accents. Beverly’s cards are gorgeous! She picked a perfect gal to case, too! 🙂 Have a great weekend! Hugs to you!
