Hi Everyone. Happy Thursday night.
Very quick post for you today. I sat at my desk, in front of my PC for 13 hours today. I need to get up and walk around and clear my head. I know you will all forgive me for making this short. In fact, there are many of you who may be saying… ABOUT TIME, WOMAN!
I bought a stamp set from a non Stampin' Up! vendor. I bought it with some of the sentiment sets I purchased. I love it's versatility and thought it would be very cool to color. It was… but.. it took me 4 goes to get it right. This was my first attempt – and it wasn't right. However, I do love the colors. Again… pushing myself to use colors that I don't often use!
Here's what I came up with
Prayers tonight for Rose, Adelle, Maria, Germaine. For those on the east coast of both the US and Australia.
Have a fabulous Friday.
Hugs
Jaydee

I really do like this card Jaydee, the colours are wonderful, I love greens but do not use them as much as I should!

The color combination is just right. I never thought to use the same color for the mat and and base. Awesome. I’ll have to try that. I am just delight to see you post a project. That’s double awesome to you just as the sentiment would read…
Beautiful – love the cutouts.
This looks like a lot of work to cut all those flowers out! But you did a great job and the coloring is perfect too! I like the way you did the ribbon. Great card-again!
You work much too hard. Can’t you cut back? You will make yourself sick. There is a lot of work too in this card, and I agree with your use of the ribbon, great, nice colors.
Jaydee please take care of yourself, find sometime this weekend just for you; maybe a bubble bath, a great bottle of wine, and nice slice of flourless chocolate torte would fit the bill. 🙂
Beautiful card BTW, I love the textured CS on the same color solid. I’d never have thought of that.
Warm thoughts and prayers to all those in need and wishes for an awesome Friday to One & All.
Beautiful! A classy clean and elegant card!
I’m glad you are finding a bit of time to just step away, even if only for a small while.
I love the colors used in this card. I love earth tones so much. The textured card stock adds such nice, well, texture to the card and a nice bit of interest.
I hope you are able to find time for YOU and to rest this weekend.
Hugs.
When you have a minute could you explain to me how to do that cutting part? Thank you. Love the card by the way.
Beautiful card Jaydee!!! Love the green. Just lovely.
