Happy Sunday.
It's the fabulous LeAnne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's theme week. The theme gave me an excuse to make a card using he November Simon Says Stamp card kit and the stamp set Christmas Cheer.

I have no idea why the coloring on the deer on the tag looks so yellow…. it doesn't look like that in real life!
And here is LeAnne's theme:
I stamped the die and loosely water colored it and then attached it to a tag. I added some of the striped twine that was included in the kit and added everything to a piece of DSP that was also included in the kit and my card was finished.

On a personal note:
I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving. For us it was a quite day and a chance for us to enjoy our new home. Tomorrow we get to take down the fall decorations and start putting up the Christmas/winter ones up instead. We have really enjoyed the fall decor – the colors really seem to suit the new house, so it's going to be interesting to see how the winter decor feels. This is the first year we will be putting up a tree since we lived in California in 1996 and we are hoping the cats will ignore it. What do you think the chances are of that? 🙂

This little deer is just the cutest, Jaydee! I love the background paper more. His little tag is perfect! Good luck with the cats and the tree…maybe you’d better invest in some wire and attach it to the wall, LOL!
Adorable, Jaydee! This vintage inspired paper is precious, as is the fawn image. My mother’s middle name was Fawn, and any time I see a fawn image, I am reminded of her. What fun to put up a tree! I know your tree will be spectacular. I can’t wait to see the pictures. Back in the day, my house was graced with six Christmas trees. However, as the number of Boxers increased, the number of trees decreased. lol Now we get festive with a vintage tabletop ceramic tree from the 70’s and decorations on the mantle and tables. lol Have a wonderful week!

Your card is delightful! I adore that little deer and putting her on a tag with a scene was a great way to highlight her. Don’t you love that kit? I think the papers are so fun and the stamp set was a definite highlight. Love this sweet card!
Love that sweet little deer tag and the vintage paper behind is so pretty (and very LeAnne!) Good luck with your tree and the kitties – I’m not sure that I would be that brave!
