Happy Friday.
It's another INSPO challenge across at Festive Friday and we have a great challenge for you this week. I was inspired to ink up a set I got as part of my online Create and Connect class with Pinkfresh Studio called Joy of the Season and I channeled the fabulous Jennifer McGuire and one of the cards she created for the class. She used a very different set for this card, but I thought this Joy of the Season set would work perfectly for this.
Here's a sneak peek:
As a reminder, you don't have to follow the theme for our challenge, all your need to do is choose at least 3 items from our INSPO list to include on your creation. Here's our challenge for this week:
For my card, I decided not to use the Betterpress Plate, but to use the stamp set and heat emboss it with gold embossing powder. I then used the matching stencils to color the image. I die-cut the stamped and stenciled image and then die-cut three blank sheets. I backed the front image with a die-cut and then attached the top of the tree to two plain die cuts that I had used to create the base. I stamped and die-cut the image and the shaped card was complete.
Here's my card"
INSPO items: red, green, gold, trees, embossing
I hope you will join us and play along with our challenge this week. We would love to see what you create. As always the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you.
I will be back tomorrow with my Addicted to CAS card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
