So…. I have a couple of cards to share with you tonight – and they aren't mine…. they are links to some super duper, amazing cards that I think you will enjoy. I couldn't wait to share them with you. It shows how incredibly talented you are. These are some projects that knocked my socks off this week. Oh… and you can all wait for a little while to see who won the Card Drive drawing.. you can all wait, can't you… I know you are all very patient…. 🙂
Oh…. and more cards arrived today…… Rach…. thank you so much to your Mom. I was bowled over when I received a batch of cards from her. You are both talented – and both rock!

So… there you are… three very different projects… three very different designers…. all fabulously talented.
Now…. So…. I guess you all want to know the winner… of the card drive…. Well…. Bilbo Baggins, my able bodied 4 legged assistant, was way too busy playing with a piece of cardboard from one of the boxes that the cards came in… so I had to call upon my other able bodied assistant – in this case – the two legged variety! Lou came down and did the drawing.
Before I tell you the winner…. Oh I am a tease, aren't I? I thought you might like to know that we are already at over 500 cards…. yep…. over 500 and we aren't finished receiving them yet. So… I predict that we are going to beat our record of 800 from the last card drive. Think about it….. thats 1300 cards in two drives – and we aren't finished counting yet. 1500 servicemen/women/critically ill children…… who will have their day brightened just a little bit.
I think it's amazing. All of you that participated are amazing. I cannot… absolutely cannot…. thank you enough….

Brenda, Cherie and I will be getting together on Brenda's return from the UK to package up the cards and post them off. We had so much fun the last time and Brenda and Cherie loved getting to oooh and aaah at the cards. I will be taking a slide show of the cards that we have received this weekend and can't wait to share them with you.
We are sitting on the deck as I write this post… the fireflies are all around us. The wind is blowing… the temps are cool. It's perfect. Tomorrow… is market day. We are off with our 4 Longaberger baskets. Last week we only took 3 and we ran out of space! So, the fourth one will be taken along tomorrow. Three times this last week we have eaten slow roasted vegetables with garlic and fennel. We also had little baby potatoes. They had been harvested the morning we ate them. They were incredible. So, we are excited about the visit to the farmer's market tomorrow. Other than that, I have to make a card for the Paper Players challenge – and hopefully get to do some more crafting!

Jaydee, you are SO generous to give all of us who participated in the card drive a gift! I’ll let you know by tomorrow night what I want, okay?
I just wanted to let you know that the 2nd link that you posted, which should be “A birthday I want to attend”, links back to the “CAS Perfection Card”. So you might want to fix that. A birthday I want to attend is an intriguing title and I can’t wait to see the card!
We’re celebrating our oldest daughter’s birthday tomorrow (even though her real birthday is on the 7th) at the apartment of our youngest daughter. There’s a pool and we plan to be there when it opens for the day! All 9 of us will be swimming including my two granddaughters who are 2 and almost 1. Should be fun and the weather will be in the upper 80’s perfect for swimming!

Hello Jaydee and all my cyber friends that visit here and keep me in your prayers! I am feeling so much better, although the pain has improved for about 10%, I have been finally told that I am suffering from Fibromyalgia – they don’t have a treatment for it, but at least I know what is causing all my pain and how to deal with it!! I have made a lot of progress in my move to my newly built stampin’ Studio! and I am trying to think of an idea, how to work on my blog – and talking about blogs – Jaydee here are my suggestions!
Jaydee, I love visiting your blog, even if I cannot type in a comment due to my hands I still love the way…. Well, I like it how it is! I How you put the card together and also mention what you have used so for people like me, can CASE them when you don’t want to use your brain cells, specially when you are in pain!!! I also enjoy your personal insights into what you’re doing, your life, talking about your mother, your travels and much more! Mostly I like how you get all the lovely ladies who are comment on your blog to be a part of it, which I have enjoyed and makes me visit your blog and think I am actually visiting you in person and makes me feel that you are more like a friend than just another blog!! and I have got to know so much about you.
For suggestions I am not sure if I know that I would like to change any thing with your blog, as I am a visual learner I love stamping videos via UTube and I know how much effort goes into creating them, well, I like it the way it is!

Germaine- to answer your question about my name! My Mother wanted to name me Melissa Dawn but my Father didn’t like it! He wanted to name me Belinda Faye! Well, my Mom said no matter what we name her I am calling her “Missy”. Well it turns out neither named me cause the hospital wrote it down wrong! They wrote down Brenda Faye! LOL! But Mom won in the end cause everybody calls me “Missy” which I like better! By the way, glad to see you commenting and that you finally have a diagnosis! Prayers to you as well as Trish and all the other ladies who are in need!

WHOA! Thanks so much for picking my name Lou! And thanks to you, Jaydee, for having such a wonderful card drive. AND congrats to Cam! That’s alot of cards you’re collecting – which is just fabulous. I can’t even begin to think of what I want to spend my prize money on! I’ve just seen so many wonderful “peeks”! I have such a problem in ordering from SU because I always need paper, markers, misc. supplies, etc…..and I think, ok, no more stamps right now…….AND THEN I see all the cute stamp sets and break down and order those instead of the things I probably really need!! Oh well. Anyway, I’m suppose to get my catalog this week, so as soon as I do, Jaydee, I’ll let you know what I want. Thanks again so much for this.

Now that my 4th of July celebration with family is done, everyone has gone, and I just put my house back into order (a bit), I am now logging on to computer and check your blog. I can’t belive it. My name is picked as the winner. I can continue to celebrate my 4th tonight, looking through the catalog to pick out my SU products. How sweet it is.
