Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday and Happy Easter!
I know you were all expecting me to put up an Easter Bunny or Flower card. Well….. I'm always one to do the unexpected. Those of you who know me well know that I LURVVVVV chocolate. So, tonight's card is in celebration of Easter eggs – not the eggs, but what they are made of 🙂
Before I show you the card though, I wanted to give you an update on Trish. I heard from Trish today. It was so wonderful to hear from her. She's at home and slowly trying to recover. You can imagine that she is in a lot of pain and has a long journey ahead of her still. So, please continue to send her prayers and a card if you can. Trish – it was wonderful to read your email!
Spring is on the way…. oh yeah…. we had a little more rain overnight and the air felt so good. I spent hours doing taxes today, but did manage to make one card – and exercise – this evening.
Doesn't this card remind you of vanilla ice cream with hot chocolate sauce? That really gorgeous rich milky chocolate that makes those fabulous Easter Eggs?
This card was actually for a featured stamper challenge on SCS and I cannot find the card that I used as the inspiration. It's so frustrating, because the original card was so gorgeous, I really didn't change that much. The one thing I wanted to do was to create a very clean color scheme because I really felt the chocolate chip ribbon and the sentiment deserved to be the stars of the show. The little butterflies come from the Beautiful Wings embosslit.
You can't see it too well but there are two vertical and two horizontal score lines that border the left hand side and the bottom of the sentiment.

OH MY GOODNESS! What a stunning card, it look so rich…kind of like THE cake from Sontes. MMMMMMMMM I’m so thankful the Easter is here so I can enjoy Chocolate again!
