Hi Everyone
Happy Tuesday night. A very quick post tonight. A big shout out to Adelle and Cam…. who let me know tonight that they have both sent me more cards for the card drive! I know that you will be looking forward to seeing more of their creations! You both ROCK!!!! thank you!
Tonight's card uses Simple Friendship and Matchbox Messages. You can see my other Simple Friendship cards here . I love this set – and the butterfly is one of the most beautiful around! I used the sketch from the splitcoaststampers sketch challenge last week. It was a great sketch and I couldn't wait to use the new Sending Love DSP again!
as you can see, I had problems with my light tent again!
Card recipe:
- Real Red (102482) and Very Vanilla (101650) card stock
- Sending Love DSP – love the shine, sparkle and textural quality of this DSP! (117153)
- The ribbon is that absolutely gorgeous, sumptuous, fabulous satin ribbon – this time in real red – Lou bought me more colors of this great ribbon for Valentine's Day! Thank you, honey! (117286)
- The sentiment is from the Matchbox Messages set (113800)
- I stamped the butterfly in Pretty in Pink and rock and rolled it in Real Red. I then stamped the image again and cut around the butterfly.
- I then used my Versamark pad and stamped all over the second butterfly and sprinkled it with Iridescent Ice (101930) and then heat embossed it. I then snailed the middle of the butterfly and stuck it over the first stamped image.
- I rounded all the corners of the paper – and the base card
- A single half pearl worked as the head of the butterfly
As always, thank you so much for spending time in my little area of the stamping blogosphere. You know I appreciate your visit. I hope you have a great Wednesday!
Hugs
Jaydee

Another beauty!! Thanks for sharing your awesome creativity with us! Every morning your blog is the first one I click on! I just can’t wait to see what you have created next! And believe me I am never disappointed! Thanks for all you do!
A really lovely card. Lou is great to be giving you more ribbons for Valentine’s day.
I clicked on your link to more Simple Friendship cards – a selection of great cards. I enjoyed looking at them all.
I retired early last night, so must have missed your post. Beautiful card. Where does the Butterfly come from? Lovely that you used a Pearl for the Butterflies head, looks really nice. Did you use shimmer paint on the Butterfly, sort of looks like you did, or maybe that is just the lighting. Would look pretty with shimmer paint also. Thanks for sharing. You are so good at posting everyday.
