(Almost) No stamps Required – Thanksgiving Note of Thanks

Hi Everyone – Happy Friday and welcome to Jaydee's SU stampin space.

Today's card is a thank you card with a Thanksgiving theme.  I wanted to do a minimum of stamping for this card and make use of some of my rub-ons.  Rub-ons are a really quick and easy way to make a card.

The background stamp is the en Francais stamp.  I love this stamp 🙂 and as you regular visitors know, I use it often.

The pheasants and the sentiment are both rub-ons from the Autumn Harvest set.  The sentiments come in one sheet of Chocolate Chip and one sheet of Whisper White.  for $10.95 at the preferred pricing, they are ideal for making quick and easy cards.

I added a little Chococolate Chip grosgrain ribbon around the top image and then a double layer of ribbon (Dusty Durango, overlaid with Whisper White) for behind the image and around the matt.

This card took 15 minutes and the most time consuming part was getting the ribbon in exactly the right place and cutting the matts! 

I stamped the En Francais background stamp in Dusty Durango.

Overall I was pleased with the card, I love the clean, crisp lines and the fact that the pheasants tie it into Thanksgiving.
