As my DH and I will be chasing lions this weekend…. well… that is we are hoping to see some lions this weekend – as well as other animals and birds, of course! I have just stumbled on your blog this morning and what a delight that was. But looking at your photos over the past few days I recognized where you were immediately. I am originally from South Africa and looking at your photos made me kinda home sick. Thanks for sharing your experience. Say hello to Table Mountain for me ;-). Love your cards. I am a SU demo too and having been living in Seattle since Jan 2008. Happy Anniversary and I hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation.

You should check back in a couple of days to see the new pics I have for you… you will be even more homesick then. I too lived in South Africa. I lived there for 23 years before meeting my new husband. So, it was a kind of coming home for me. The Cape is still as beautiful as ever. yesterday, we were coming back from Montagu to Stellenbosch and came over the hill to find that the table was over the Table Mountain. What a sight!
