Hi Everyone. Happy Tuesday night and welcome to Jaydee's SU Stampin space.
Today's card is quick and Clean and Simple and uses a minimum of supplies. I used the Christmas Jingle Simply Scrappin kit and the Berry Christmas stamp set. I also pulled out my trusty texturz plate – but you can certainly create the card without that.
How it was made:
- I used Real Red card stock for the base and ran it through my big shot with the texturz plate\
- I used a border element from the Christmas Jingle scrappin kit and wrapped a piece of real red grosgrain ribbon around it for the backdrop to the central focal image
- I used two pieces from the Christmas Jingle kit to make the central image – the round border and then the sentiment.
- I stamped the bird from the Berry Christmas set and cut around it with a pair of paper snips. I then placed it on the sentiment with a Stampin' Dimensional, which I cut into three
- I then made a bow from the Old Olive satin ribbon from the Mistletoe ribbon set (from the new mini)
So… quick and easy and clean and simple…. the hardest thing was cutting out the bird…. and there's a solution for that! The Merry Details Stampin' Up! Sizzlets die…… lets you put your real red – or whatever card stock you prefer into the Big Shot and stamps out the little birds for you…. so no need to cut it out! It also comes with two different size Christmas trees and a snowflake – so a great time saver and a cool die at $5.50 preferred pricing 🙂
I hope you all have a fabulous Tuesday night and I'll be back with another card tomorrow. The weather has been glorious today….. at home though.. is a different story altogether!
Peace
Jaydee

I love that this card is simple and adorable. I need to get some designer paper…that’s what I’m missing from my stash.
Your card is great. I just love the Christmas Jingle Kit Margaret
