Pinwheel Party for Paper Players #700

Happy Sunday.

It's the fabulous LeAnne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and I cannot believe that it is our 700th – yes that would be SEVEN HUNDREDTH challenge!  As that's a major milestone, I decided to create a celebration card.  I used my much loved Pinwheel Party goodies from The Greetery.  Here's a sneak peek:

Here's LeAnne's sketch for this week:

I created the texture in the background from a free gift we got from Pinkfresh Studio when ordering during their birthday party celebration.  I then used the Pinwheel Party Stencils and dies to create the pinwheels.  I popped up the panels with foam dots and added the sentiment.  It was a really easy card to create.

Here's my full card:

I hope you will join us and play along with our 700th challenge.  We would love to see what you create with LeAnne's sketch.  As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:

On a personal note:

Anyone else finding it difficult to believe that we are already knocking on the door of August?  This year has gone so quickly.  I'm not sure if it's the fact that I was away for the early part of the year or not, but this year certainly does seem to be speeding along.  Talking about speeding along, little Chilli is now well over 9 pounds in weight and I swear is growing every time I look at him.  As I type this, Chilli and Smudgie are zooming around the apartment chasing each other.  It's such fun to watch.  Especially as both of them have hairy toes and slip and slide everytime they try to change direction or go around the corner.  We love the vinyl plank floors in the apartment, but these two would much prefer carpet – much better grip.

I thought you might enjoy seeing a photograph of little Chilli when he was 5 weeks old…. I swear those ears!!!!

Ok… everyone say awwwwwww :-). What a cutie.  No wonder we fell in love with him!

I'll be back latr in the week with some cards.  At least I hope I will.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
