Happy Sunday and greetings from New York!
It's another challenge across at the Paper Players this week and LeAnne has a fabulous theme for us. This fun theme inspired me to pull out an old MFT set called Happy Birthday Herd. Here's a sneak peek:
And here's LeAnne's challenge:
For my card I stamped two of the images and framed them in the photoframe die – also from MFT. I did some quick coloring with my Copic markers and used an old stencil to add a little background texture, and ground the images. I added a quick sentiment and some sequins and my card was complete. Really quick and easy.
I hope you will join us and play along with LeAnne's challenge. We would love to see what you create. As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:
On a personal note:
Well, this morning we arrive back in New York City. It's hard to believe that we have sailed over 48,000 – yep… forty eight thousand miles – since we left port on January 3. It has been an amazing journey and I am so blessed to have had this opportunity. It was the perfect way to decompress after nearly 50 years of working full time and the stresses of the last couple of years. I feel refreshed and revitalized and am ready for the next adventures. I will have a couple of posts to share with you this week as I finish up some of the places we visited. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight
Hugs

Welcome almost home! I’ve loved following your adventure. Hugs to you.
This is a perfect card for my challenge this week, Jaydee! If those animals aren’t up to antics, I’ll eat my hat! SO CUTE!
Absolutely adorable, Jaydee! The members of the “Herd” have the sweetest faces and look so cute celebrating. Receiving this card would make it worth growing another year older!
This looks like some serious animal antics going on in those party polaroids Jaydee – so fun!
Super fun and cute card. – Wow you’ve had quite the journey.
WELCOME HOME!!!!!! I am so happy that you were able to travel around the world!!!! You earned it!
This little scene of “party animals” is priceless! So fun and the polaroids made it even more special!
