Small Butterflies for Paper Players #685

Happy Sunday and greetings from a foggy Atlantic Ocean!

It's the fabulous Claire's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's color week.  For my card I decided to use some butterflies from the Pinkfresh Studio Small Butterflies die.  I had such fun making this card.  Here's a sneak peek:

With these colors I couldn't help but go with a rainbow card:-). I stamped four of the butterflies with versamark and heat set them with white embossing powder.  I then used the matching die-cuts.  I just love these butterflies and even though the card may be horizontal, I promise you it isn't a slimline:-)

Here's my card:

As usual, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:

I'll be back in a couple of days with a travel post.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

  1. Jaydee, I just love these white embossed butterflies! Such an amazing way to use the color combo! The sentiment is lovely. This card will brighten someone’s day! Thank you for making my colors shine this week!

  2. Beautiful, Jaydee! The white rectangle is the perfect backdrop for these gorgeous butterflies. The neutral card base truly allows the challenge colors to “pop”. A lovely card which truly will brighten someone’s day!

  3. The watercolour detail on your butterflies is just beautiful Jaydee and adds a subtlety to these colours. That said, they pop against the grey background. Gorgeous!

  4. These butterflies look absolutely stunning arranged in a row like this Jaydee! I love the simplicity of the stitched background and the sentiment tag – all the focus is on those gorgeous butterflies! Vicky x
