Alexandra Renke Strawberries for Paper Players #674

Happy Sunday

It's my turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's sketch week.  I was inspired by the sketch to use my Alexandra Renke Strawberry dies.  I just love these dies.

here's a sneak peek:

Here's the sketch:

I used a piece of watercolor paper and some inks mixed with water.  I dipped the diecuts into the inks and left them to dry.  I used some PH Martin's white ink to add some interest before I mounted them onto a die-cut from and embossed background.  I added the sentiment onto the top of the strawberries and mounted them on foam squares.  Here's my card:

As always the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you.

On a personal note:

Tomorrow I am off to a game park in South Africa for a couple of days.  When I get back I will have another post with photos for you! In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

  1. Oh, what a fun card and sketch! I love the way you created these lovely strawberries. They are so realistic. Your card is CAS perfection and embossed background makes them pop of the card. Keep having a fabulous trip!!!!!! Safe travels, My Friend!

  2. Oh, Jaydee! What a beautiful card! These strawberries look yummy against this texture. The use of neutrals colors really allow the berries to “pop” right off the page! Thank you for the fabulous challenge this week. I LOVE this sketch!

  3. What a fresh and fun card, Jaydee! Love the pops of texture and that single strawberry outline really draws the eye. Just fabulous! This was a wonderful sketch to create with this week!
