Watercolor World for Festive Friday FF#0137

Happy Friday.

It’s another challenge across at Festive Friday this week.  Festive Friday is a bi-weekly card making challenge that celebrates holidays/festivities from around the world.  You don’t have to follow the theme of our challenge, just incorporate 3 items from the INSPO list into your card.

This week’s challenge gave me the perfect opportunity to ink up a new stamp I got recently called Watercolor World from Stampin’ Up!

Global – hence the map 🙂  This was such an easy card to put together.  All I did was ink up the map with two colors of blue and green ink and then stamp onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80# cardstock, added a sentiment and mounted the panel onto a piece of Pretty Peacock card stock.

Here’s my full card:

INSPO items included:  blue, green, map

As I have so many friends and family who live nowhere near to me, I thought this was the perfect sentiment and image.  We hope you will join us and play along.  We would love to see what you are inspired by.  As always the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you.

I’ll be back tomorrow with the full 10 cards from the Earthen Textures inspiration.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

hugs

  1. Even if super easy, the water color look and the colors on your card look fantastic, sometimes simple makes the loudest statement!

  2. I love this map too Jaydee and I haven’t tried to colour it in this way – this will be my next take with this stamp I think, it’s so effective. Love the sentiment you used too – I’m always looking for good ones to pair with this stamp. A great CAS card!
