Happy Tuesday.
Yeah… I know… the heading of the card countdown went from day 5 to day 7, but day 6 was actually my Paper Players card that you can see here. 🙂
Today I focused on one of the stamps and two colors that I think work beautifully together – Pretty Peacock and Wild Wheat. For today’s card kept the colors to a minimum and just the single die-cut.
I stamped the wheat onto the Wild Wheat base and then onto a piece of Pretty Peacock. I die-cut the Pretty Peacock piece and added that over the sentiment layer. The sentment was heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I didn’t want to introduce white for the sentiment as I thought it would pop just a little too much. I did add a mat of Pebbled Path just to break the colors. I do think Wild Wheat is a fabulous color and can’t wait to use it for Fall.
Here’s my card:

I’ll be back tomorrow with another card for you. I do hope you are enjoying the inspiration. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

A beautiful card! It’s very elegant and the colors are so complementary. Well done.
