I hope you all had a great weekend. As for me, I got to play in my craft room for a little while and found a great sketch across at Sunday Stamps that inspired me to ink up my Postal Collage Gingerbread stencil.
The Gingerbread stencil is awfully cute and I thought the shapes of the stamps would work perfectly for the sketch. Here’s a sneak peek:

In order to get in the 5 elements that are in the Sunday Stamps sketch, I needed to create a mini slimline card. For the base of my card I used Shaded Spruce from Stampin’ Up! I love this gorgeous, rich shade of green.
I inked up my stencils with traditional Christmas colors and used the stencils to create the gingerbread cookies and houses. Once the inking was complete, I used the Postal Collage die to create the stamps and chose the ones I wanted for my card. I adhered some and popped up others to give them some dimension. I think these would look great with some white texture paste, too!
