Jumbo Curiosity Dragonfly for Paper Players #638

Happy Sunday.

It’s the fabulous LeAnne’s turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it’s tic-tac-toe week!  Looking at the options on the tic-tac-toe board I was inspired to die-cut and ink up the Jumbo Curiosity Dragonfly die from The Greetery.  I love this die set!

As you can see, I went with some fairly bright colors!  From the tic-tac-toe board I chose bright colors, birthday and die-cut.

Die-cutting and coloring the dragonfly was easy.  I used finger daubers to color it and then backed it with 4 other die-cuts from white cardstock.  I find thata the ink soaks through when applied so heavily, so the dragonfly needed a little stability.   For the background, I used an old stencil from Tim Holtz and used a lighter shade than I had used on the dragonfly.  All that was left was to add the sentiment and adhere the dragonfly.   I popped up the wings with some double sided foam tape.
