Happy Saturday and welcome to our first Addicted to CAS challenge of 2026!
It’s the fabulous Vicki’s turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and she has a great code word for us. And, because I tend to be a very literal person, I went literal with the challenge :-). I always admire those creative brains that can look at a word and think totally outside of the box! As that is not me, I chose to use the Pinkfresh Studio die/stamp set called Cheers.
Here’s a sneak peek:

And here is Vicki’s code word for our challenge:

I began by stamping and heat setting all the elements using Hero Arts irridescent embossing powder. I wanted the lines to be there, but only just.
I then used the matching stencils to color in all of the elements and die-cut them with the matching dies. I took a Spellbinders stencil and created the star background.
I then put all the elements together and mounted them on my card base. Last detail was to take some glazing glue and cover the inside of the glass with it. I know it’s hard to see in the photo, but the contents of the glass have a raised and wet look to them in real life.
Here’s my card:

We would love to see what YOU create with Vicki’s code word. So, I hope you will join us and play along.
I’ll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Card recipe:
