Spellbinders Better Together For Festive Friday Challenge #202

Happy Friday.

It’s another INSPO challenge across at Festive Friday this week and we are celebrating Valentine’s Day. For my card I used a new die from Spellbinders called Better Together and made an interactive card using a wobbler. As a reminder, you don’t need to follow our theme for the challenge, you just need to incorporate at least three elements from our INSPO list.

Here is our INSPO list for this week:

For my card I went with pink, lilac, die cut, love sentiment and hearts!

I began by creating the little otter. I die-cut him from chiffon and brown cardstock. I blended his ears, arms and feet with a darker ink to add some contrast. I die-cut the heart from a dark red cardstock and then adhered a wobbler behind him.

I then focused on the background. I used a stencil from Waffle Flower called Overlapping Hearts and blended some pink and lilac ink to create the sort of hear bokkeh effect.

I added a sentiment and adhered my wobbler and the card was complete. Here’s my full card:
