Happy Saturday.
It's another CAS challenge at AddictedtoCAS and it's the fabulous Nancy's turn to host our challenge. Now… this code word is contrary to CAS – so it was fun seeing how many layers I could get on a card and still keep it CAS. In case you are wondering – 5. Yep, I got 5 layers on this card. Thanks to the fabulous MFT Baby Shark die. Here's a sneak peek and, seriously, who couldn't help but smile at that toothy thing 🙂
And here's Nancy's code word:
I used an MFT stencil and blended some inks to create the background. I also splattered some water to add texture to the background. I also used a lot of blues and greys blended together to create the pieces for the shark. For this card I decided to add just the one set of teeth. I loved the smile it gave him. Of course, this is another card that is going off to SendASmile4Kids:-)
Here's my 5 layer card:
Oh, isn't he cute? :-) I love him. I hope you will join us and play along with our LAYER CAS challenge. Such an oxymoron 🙂 As always the design team have some fabulous inspiration and I hope you will check out their blogs.
I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players challenge card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
