Botanicuts Sunflower Mason Jar for Just Add Ink #620

Happy Saturday – again!

So, I got to spend a little time playing in my craft room today and went looking for some inspiration.  I came across this gorgeous photo inspiration at JustAddInk and immediately knew what I was going to do – and what I was going to use!  Here's a sneak peek:

And here's the inspiration photo from JustAddInk:

Isn't that just gorgeous.    I used yellow flowers instead of the orangey zinnias, so I went with a yellow hue to the background.  Also, none of my inks were as rich a blue as the inspiration photo, but I hope I did it justice.   I used 7 different colors of ink for the background and about 4 different yellows for the sunflowers, plus I added some detail with pencil.  I then splattered 3 different colors of brown ink, plus gold, on the flowers and leaves.   I stamped and die-cut the mason jar and stuck everything onto the base.  I popped up the sunflowers for a little added dimension.   As the mason jar has a sentiment on it, I didn't think the card needed any additional sentiment.

Here's my card:

I promise this is the last time I will be back today :-). I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
