Top Down Autumn for Paper Players #607

Happy Sunday

It's the fabulous Ann's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's theme week.  Here's Ann's theme:

One of the things I love about living in the mid-west is fall.  The changing colors are sometimes gorgeous and driving around is such a pleasure.  So, I used that as the inspiration for my card this week and went to town with goodies from The Greetery – Top Down and the mini set called Top Down Autumn Day. Of course, I needed trees, so I used the Fir & Foliage 1 set, also from the Greetery.  I love the idea of a whole card load of pumpkins for decoration.  Our old neighbors have told us they will miss us not doing our normal seasonal decorations on the front porch of our old house.  We have a little bit of space on the balconies at the apartment, so will probably get some 'mums and a couple of pumpkins.  Right now, the hummer is still enjoying the lantana – so we are holding off until they have gone before we put out the Mums.

Anyway, here's my card:
Top-Down-Autumn
I used some watercolor paper for the base and colored the area for te card and the bright, light blue sky that we get around here at this time of year.

I hope you will join us and play along.  We would love to see what you create.  As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:

On a personal note:

I am thrilled it is a long weekend and have taken a couple of extra days next week.  Yesterday I decided I really needed to do something about cataloging all of my cards.  I needed to make an autumn themed card and couldn't remember all the autumn/fall sets I had, so decided it really was time to do what I used to do at the old house.  Catalog them all.  All the stamps, dies and stencils.  It's time consuming and will eat up a very good portion of my day, but, in the end, it is so worth it!

I'll be back tomorrow with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
