Happy Sunday.
It's the fabulous Claire's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's Tic Tac Toe week! As I'm busy making cards for kids in hospital, this t-t-t board gave me a great excuse to use a set I bought specifically for nurses in the NICU to send to parents, grandparents and siblings on babies in their care. They send foot print cards. So, the inside is always kept clear and clean of any stamping or accoutrements, so the little foot print can be placed inside. I had such fun creating cards using the Doodlebugs set called Special Delivery. Because I was making so many cards, I made sure to get the matching dies, too. 🙂
Here's the Tic Tac Toe board:
yellow, person/animal and embossing
I went straight across the top. My person is a little person fast asleep on a puffy cloud! I used some yellow paper behind the focal layer and used my brick embossing folder to add texture. Why brick? Because it was the only one that I had that didn't look really odd. In retrospect, I could have heat embossed the "BOY" in the sentiment! Oh, well, too late now!
Here's my card:
Such a sweet little image. I made multiple cards with different papers and different hair colors and skin tones. I'll share more of them this week. I'm off to finish up the baby cards so I can get them in the post tomorrow. I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday filled with love and laughter and warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.
Hugs
Jaydee

Your sweet baby on a puffy cloud is adorable Jaydee – and perfect for a footprint memory inside! You can’t go wrong with gingham or brick – together a winning pair. I’m sure it will be loved by NICU nurses and parents alike. Can’t wait to see the other variations!
The image is so sweet. I am sure they will love to receive a card like this one.
