Waffle Flower Postal Collage The Pond for Paper Players Challenge #796

Happy Sunday.

It’s the fabulous Christy’s turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it’s sketch week. I decided to go fairly clean and simple for my card and brought out a stencil set from Waffle Flower called The Pond.

Here’s a sneak peek:

And here’s Christy’s sketch:

I began by stenciling The Pond stencils onto Neenah 80# cardstock and then die cut them with the Postal Collage die. I chose the three images that I felt worked best together and adhered them to the card base. I then stamped the “thinking of you” sentiment as well as the round just a note sentiment.

I die cut the round sentiment using the matching die and then popped that up from my card base with foam dots.

Easy peasy!

Here’s my full card:

I hope you will join us and play along with Christy’s sketch. If you are looking for some inspiration you can find lots of it from our design team:

I’ll be back later in the week with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Card recipe:

  • Stencils: Postal Collage The Pond – Waffle Flower
  • Dies: Postal Collage – Waffle Flower

  1. The swans and water lilies are just gorgeous, Jaydee! I love the postage theme and how the colors pop on the crisp white card base. Thanks for making my sketch look amazing and I hope you have a fabulous week!
