Happy Sunday.
It’s the fabulous Antipodean Jan’s turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it’s theme week. I went back to my clean and simple roots for this one. When I saw the theme I immediately thought baby. It was only long after I had made my card that I realized it didn’t have to be for a baby! But, it was too late, the card was made!
Here’s a sneak peek:

What you can’t see clearly is that the fleece of the little lamb is fluffy! I used some Simon Says Stamp white heat and fluff stuff that is such fun. I can’t wait to use it on Christmas cards!
Here’s Jan’s theme for this week:

To create my card I used a die called Peeking Lamb from Simon Says Stamp. I think it’s supposed to be an Easter stamp, but I couldn’t see any reason why I it wouldn’t work for a baby card! Of course, I absolutely had to use some pink and white gingham behind that little fluffy lamb!
The sentiment comes from an Echo Park Winnie the Pooh sentiment set, and I thought it was perfect for the card.
Here’s my full card:

Isn’t that cute? If you blow up the image a little I think you should be able to make out the strands of fluffy fleece. So, how many times can I get the words fluffy fleece into this post? I mean, who doesn’t like a fluffy fleece-y jumper!?
The design team have some fabulous inspiration for you. As always!
On a personal note:
I’ve been very quiet posting this week as I have been attending an onlinecardclasses classes called Brighter Days. It’s based around a set of products designed by Jennifer and Kristina specifically for this class. I can promise you that I have NEVER, EVER, EVER, in my whole entire life, done so much ink blending with stencils! The classes have been fabulous. Most of them more complicated that I would normally make, but even though my arthritic hands are certainly feeling it, I have thoroughly enjoyed this class. I’ll share some of the cards with you this coming week. Mind you, I still have another day of classes to finish and I haven’t even begun homework!
I’ll be back in a couple of days. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Card recipe:
- Die: Peeking Lamb – Simon Says Stamp
- Sentiment: Pooh and Friends – Echo Park
Hugs

Such a sweet fluffy fleecy lamb card, Jaydee! I love the pink gingham behind Lamb Chop and that greeting is perfect. I remember way, way back in the day there when I worked at a scrapbook store we had some type of product that would fluff up when you heated it, I remember helping ladies with it for scrapbook page classes. I miss the days when there were independent scrapbook stores everywhere. Hope you have a lovely week, friend!
This is so sweet!! I LOVE how you used that little lamb. The way you used it for a baby card is so fun.
Adorable card!! What a sweet little lamb & the sentiment is perfect!
