Happy Friday.
It’s another INSPO challenge across at Festive Friday this week and we are celebrating a theme that gives you so much scope to create projects for any age group! I was inspired to ink up a very old set from MFT called Picture Perfect Party Animals and was also inspired by the perfect video from Nick Parks (creator of Wallace and Grommit) called Creature Comforts. It garned an Oscar back in 1989 and never ceases to amaze me. How he portrayed those clay animals and brought them to life was astonishing. Especially when you think it was nearly 40 years ago! Anyway, after that little trip down memory lane – here’s a sneak peek of my card:
This set is one that I have had for years and has survived every single 2x yearly purge that I have. I absolutely love it and it will remain in my stash for a long time to come.
Oh, and here’s our INSPO list for the challenge. As a reminder, you don’t have to follow the theme, we just ask that you use at least 3 items from our INSPO list on your creation:
I began my card by stamping and loosely coloring the images. I then die-cut the film strip and adhered the images behind that.
The background paper comes from a very old SU DSP collection that I have had for years. I thought it was perfect as a backdrop for these images.
I popped up the images with some extra cardstock and added the sentiment. Here’s my full card:
