Masculine Birthday for Paper Players #584

Happy Sunday.

It's the fabulous LeAnne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week.  The sketch made it perfect to use up some fabulous DSP that I have been hoarding for years!

I used my old my favorite thing rectangle dies to cut three pieces of DSP and glued them onto my card base.  All I had to do was stamp a large sentiment and die-cut it, add a couple of birds  and, voila, the card was done!

Here's my card:

Masculine-Birthday-PP

I hope you will join us and play along with our challenge this week.  We would love to see what you create!

I'll be back tomorrow with another card.  In the meantime, I'm off to pack some boxes and sort more stuff for charity!  Oh… and enjoy the fact that it is getting warm enough here that the snow is starting to melt.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

  1. Great card, Jaydee! I love the subtle stamping of the birds, and that diecut sentiment is wonderful! I am glad you’re warming up…we just had snowflurries!!!!

  2. Hi Jaydee,
You make this sound so easy, I love the result! I love the pairing of the DSP and the bold greeting. Adding the birds is just enough to tie it all together. I hope packing goes well for you this week!

  3. This is such a great way to use patterned paper isn’t it? I love the addition of the birds to your sentiment too. This would make a great masculine card – I think I have some similar paper so am scuttling off to CASE! Good luck with the packing this week!
