Happy Friday
I cannot believe it but Festive Friday is celebrating 100 INSPO challenges! How awesome is that :-) It was a great excuse for me to get out my Balloon Bouquet stamps and dies and my Ticker Tape background stamp from The Greetery.
So, our inspo list for today is:
I'm making cards for the seniors and they have asked for birthday cards, so this was a perfect challenge to make a card! I went with a muted palette of gold, white and black. I began by stamping and embossing the Ticker Tape background with gold embossing powder. I used some old Stampin' Up! metallic gold card stock to die-cut the balloon and thee bunting and die-cut the front panel with the Crimped Border die.

On a personal note:
OK… it's back in the -20 to -30 range again! I feel in a constant state of freeze! I suffer from Hashimoto's disease and it really affects my ability to regulate my body temperature and these massive fluctuations of outside temps are playing havoc with my ability to get warm and stay warm! Don't get me wrong, it looks really pretty out there – especially as we had another fresh snowfall yesterday, but it's just these temps!
I'll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Jaydee I love your muted palette – it really highlights that gold sparkly confetti. The balloon and bunting are so perfect too for our milestone celebration. Stay warm my friend!

Awesome card, Jaydee! I’m sorry to hear you have Hashimoto’s disease. My daughter, Abby, has it too and it isn’t easy. Prayers for you to stay warm and keep crafting your beautiful creations!

Beth, so sorry your daughter has Hashimoto’s. It took years to get mine diagnosed and it was so frustrating dealing with a plethora of seemingly disconnected ailments. I hope they have hers under control with the right level of meds. It’s interesting how complex it can be to get the levels right!
