Botanicuts Tulip for Perfectly CAS

Happy Friday.

I have a card today made for a new to me card challenge.  How could I have missed a challenge site called PerfectlyCAS?  Here's the challenge:

I die-cut some Neenah Solar White card stock with the Botanicuts Tulips dies from the Greetery.  I colored them by blending oranges, yellows and green inks and then adding more detail with pencils.  For the embossed piece, I ran a Stampin' Up! 3D brick embossing folder part of the way thru my Platinum 6 and left a portion of it without embossing.  For the sentiment, I stamped a tiny sentiment from the Sentiments Suite set from The Greetery and die-cut it with the matching die.

I popped the petals up from the base and tucked the sentiment behind the stem, so that I could try to stick to that 3rd of the card.

Here's my card:

Botanicuts Tulip (1 of 1)-3

To ground the tulips, I blended a little blue onto the brick.  I love the pop of the orange/red against the white.  If you haven't found the Perfectly CAS site yet, I strongly suggest you pop across to see the wonderful design team and submission cards.  I'll be back tomorrow with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little hug tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
