Happy Sunday, again!
I'm dropping in to share a card I made using the fabulous sketch across at FreshlyMade. I had some fun with a Stampin' Up Embossing folder – Seabed and paired it with some sea creatures from The Greetery to make a children's card.
Here's the Freshly Made sketch:
I used a piece of Neenah Solar White 80# paper and ran it through my big shot. I then used my blending brushes and Catherine Pooler inks to blend a background with green, blue and a touch of orange. I wanted the background colors to echo the colors of my sea creatures. Blending on the embossed layer also brings out the fabulous detail from the embossing folder. I added a sentiment from the Stampin' Up! Whale Done set and my card was done.
Here's my card:
Isn't that cute? I love these little guys and was able to add a top hat and a ribbon also from the same set. I really do love this embossing folder and it's one of those things that will be around in my stash for a long time.
I will be back later in the week. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
