Game On for Addicted to CAS #193

Happy Saturday.  It's the turn of the fabulous Raga to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and this is her code word.

Originally, I was looking to do something with triangles, but realized that I had a much more fun choice with Stampin' Up!s Game On.  I thought the shapes of the chess pieces and the board inspired background would be much more interesting.  This card is one that is going into the collection that I have going for Bearly Art's card drive for Foster Kids.  If you are interested in finding out more about this card drive, you can check out my blog post here

I kept the shading and coloring very light and neutral.  I die-cut the base layer with the Postal Frames die from The Greetery.  Here's my card:

Game On (1 of 1)-5

I hope you will join us and play along.  As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you – including our very talented guest designer Elaine .  Elaine's card is a wonderful mix of blue and orange and I hope you will pop along to her blog and check it out.

I'm back into my craft room this morning to try to get more cards made towards the goal of 250 that I set myself for the Bearly Art card drive.  I have 8 more days to make them – and need another 130!  So, I need to get my skates on :-)  I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card and some cards that I have been making for the card drive.

In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

jaydee

  1. Jaydee, this is a great card for your cause. Masculine cards are the toughest I think and this one is perfect. Enjoy your day!
