Happy Sunday – again! 🙂
I have a quick post for you tonight showcasing the new Stampin' Up! Whale Done stamp set, Whale of a Time paper and the Seabed 3D embossing folder. The challenge across at CAS on Fridays is to use an animal
I absolutely LOVE the beautiful bright, bold colors of the Whale of a Time DSP. However, there is SO much pattern and color that I wasn't sure I would be able to use it on CAS cards. I love the new Bumble Bee color and the DSP set has some gorgeous paper. I die-cut a circle from that piece of DSP and then stamp the turtle and fussy-cut him. For the background, I used the Seabed 3D embossing folder, but took it only part of the way down the base layer. I added the sentiment, popped up the turtle – and the card was finished.
I used a marshamallow colored card stock for the base layer as I liked the way it popped from the white of the card base and was a good transition from the white to the Bumble Bee. I was very happy with the way the card turned out and made another card with the same DSP that I will share with you later in the week.
I'll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
