Happy Sunday. Again! 🙂
As it is a cold, miserable, wet, windy day, I decided it was time to go huddle in my craft room and play along with some challenges. The two challenges across at Inkspirational and Festive Friday had me making a shaker card along with a little punny sentiment!
For my inso list I went with fish, shaker element and pun sentiment.
I inked up an old set from My Favorite Things called Gill Friends. I stamped and colored two of the fish and some seaweed. I fussy cut them and arranged them around a stitched die-cut circle on my front layer. I adhered one fish to the background and popped up the other. I then added some fun shaker elements with sequins and shells and added my fun pun sentiment. I stamped another of the orange and green fish and added that to the inside along with the sentiment that reads "Birthday Fishes".

I had such fun making this card. I generally don't make shakers as they drive me crazy with all the tape and foam and getting everything aligned. But, it was really good to do something different.
