Stronger Together for Paper Players #486

Hi Everyone.  Happy Sunday.

It's my turn to host the Paper Players challenge this week and it's color week:

I decided to go with a color scheme that could be used for kids cards, masculine cards or feminine cards and I love the soft palette.  For my card, I decided to use the central image from the March SSS card kit – Stronger Together.  In this particular time, I believe we are much stronger together – even though we are all so far apart!

Here's my card:

Stronger Together (1 of 1)-2

I hope you will play along with us this week – we would love to see what you create.  As usual, the design team have outdone themselves and provided some fabulous inspiration for you:

On a personal note:

We are under a Winter Weather Advisory – up to 5" of the white stuff is due tomorrow.  Seriously!  Can't the white stuff go away already!  Mind you… we have had snow in April for the last decade, so I shouldn't be surprised.

One of the great things about our house is the view from our bedroom window.  The view is the reason that we moved from our old house 80 miles away to our "new" house back in 2012.  I woke up one morning this week and this was the sunrise over the wetland….. we just feel so blessed.

Yeah… there is no color in the wetland… but the sky – it is everything!  The colors, the cloud formations, the colors of the rising sun…. and yes, we do sleep with our windows open ALL year – even when it's -40!

Sunrise (1 of 1)-2

I had intended to spend time in my craft room today, but got completely side-tracked with a hint from ancestry.co.uk… and I spent hours down a rabbit hole tracking a side of my family that is much neglected.  It was rewarding… but oh! so frustrating 🙂  However, it's another hobby that I love!  Tomorrow I might get into my craft room, or I may go further down the rabbit hole!  To be honest… in the world of today – having somewhere to escape to – even if it is a virtual rabbit hole – is a good thing – especially when it's going to snow!

I hope you and your family are safe and well.  I'll be back tomorrow with another card.  In the meantime, Happy Easter, Happy Passover – warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
