Happy Snowman for Paper Players #470

Happy Sunday!

It's the fabulous Laurie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and this is her theme:

Considering the ground is covered in snow where we are – and Laurie is expecting much more than we are… the theme is just perfect.  It really is a winter wonderland outside right now and the snowflakes are big and fluffy and Hallmark-Christmas-movie-perfect!

As soon as I saw this challenge I knew there was only one stamp set that would work – Gerda Steiner's Happy Snowman.  He's so perfectly cute!
I combined him with a snow mound die-cut…. it's so old, and one of the few things that I haven't marked with the source!  I paired the snowman with some clear dots to make it feel like my version of perfect snow 🙂

Here's my card:

Frosty (1 of 1) (1)

As usual, the design team have some amazing inspiration for you.  I hope you will pop along to their websites and check out their cards:

I'll be back tomorrow with another card and some photos of our winter wonderland.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

  1. He’s a QT and I love the clear drops you added for snow! Yes we did get hit with 9 plus inches..and the roads are still not all plowed out yet!

  2. One of my favorite snowman cards ever, Jaydee! I love his happy face!!! The clear “snowdrops” are the perfect accents. You nailed the theme for sure! Have a wonderful week!
